Leon Bridges is an American soul singer, songwriter, and record producer from Fort Worth, Texas. He initially gained recognition in 2015 with his debut studio album Coming Home, which peaked at number 6 on the US Billboard 200 chart and earned him two Grammy Award nominations. His sophomore album Good Thing was released in 2018, peaking at number 3 on the US Billboard 200 chart and earning him three Grammy Award nominations.

Coming Home, Bridges' debut album, featured the singles "Coming Home", "Better Man" and "Brown Skin Girl". Good Thing, his sophomore album, featured the singles "Bad Bad News", "If It Feels Good (Then It Must Be)", and "Beyond". Both albums were critically acclaimed, with Coming Home earning him two Grammy Award nominations for Best R&B Album and Best Traditional R&B Performance, and Good Thing earning him three Grammy Award nominations for Album of the Year, Best R&B Album and Best R&B Performance.

An interesting fact about Leon Bridges is that he was discovered by record producer White Dave in a Texas open mic night, and he was signed to Columbia Records shortly after.
