Lighthouse
Lighthouse is a Canadian rock band formed in Toronto in 1968. The original lineup consisted of vocalist and keyboardist Skip Prokop, guitarist Paul Hoffert, vocalist and bassist Ralph Cole, vocalist and saxophonist Bob McBride, and drummer and vocalist John Daniel.
Lighthouse released their debut self-titled album in 1969, which featured their most successful single, "Sunny Days". This song, along with the album, was certified gold in Canada and reached the Top 20 in the US. They followed this up with their second album, Lighthouse Live, in 1971. This album featured the hit single "One Fine Morning" and was also certified gold.
The band's third album, Thought of Movin' On, was released in 1972 and featured the hit single "Pretty Lady". Their fourth album, Can You Feel It, was released in 1973 and featured the hit single "Lucky Man".
Lighthouse's most successful album was their fifth album, One Fine Morning, which was released in 1975 and featured the hit single "Pretty Lady". The album was certified platinum in Canada and reached the Top 20 in the US.
Their other standout albums include Peacing It All Together (1976), Sunny Days (1977), and Song of the Ages (1979).

An interesting fact about Lighthouse is that they were the first Canadian rock band to receive a gold record for their debut album.
