Linda Ronstadt is an American singer-songwriter who was one of the most popular recording artists of the 1970s. She released her self-titled debut album in 1969, which contained her first top 10 hit, “Different Drum.” From then on, she released a number of successful albums, such as “Heart Like a Wheel” (1974), “Simple Dreams” (1977) and “Living in the USA” (1978). Her most successful singles include “You’re No Good” (1975), “Blue Bayou” (1977) and “Ooo Baby Baby” (1978).

Ronstadt has won 10 Grammy Awards, an Emmy Award and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014. She is also the recipient of the American Music Award for Lifetime Achievement and the Latin Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award.

An interesting fact about Linda Ronstadt is that she was the first female artist to be featured on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine, in 1976.
