Mi-Sex Vinyl Records

Mi-Sex is a New Zealand/Australian rock band, formed in 1979. The original lineup included Steve Gilpin (vocals), Don Martin (guitar), Murray Burns (bass), Kevin Stanton (keyboards) and Jim Manzie (drums).

Mi-Sex released their debut album, Graffiti Crimes, in 1979. The album featured their biggest hit, the top 10 single "Computer Games". The album also included the singles "People", "Space Race" and "Blue Day".

In 1981, Mi-Sex released their second album, Space Race. The album spawned the hit singles "But You Don't Care", "It Only Hurts When I'm Laughing" and "Falling in and Out of Love".

The band's third album, 1983's Where Do They Go, featured the singles "Computer Games" and "Living in the Eighties".

Mi-Sex's fourth and final album, Not From Here, was released in 1984. The album featured the single "What Do You Want".

Mi-Sex's biggest hit, "Computer Games", was featured on the soundtrack to the 1984 film Revenge of the Nerds. An interesting fact about the song is that it was originally written as a joke, but it became an unexpected hit.
