Mumford & Sons is a folk rock band formed in London in 2007. The members of the band are Marcus Mumford, Ben Lovett, Winston Marshall, and Ted Dwane. They are known for their signature folk-rock sound, which combines traditional instruments such as banjo, mandolin, and double bass with electric guitar and drums.

Mumford & Sons' first album, Sigh No More, was released in 2009 and earned the band their first Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. The album spawned the hit single "Little Lion Man," which peaked at number 11 on the UK Singles Chart and earned the band their first Grammy Award for Best Rock Song.

The band's second album, Babel, was released in 2012 and won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. It featured the hit singles "I Will Wait" and "Lover of the Light." The band's third album, Wilder Mind, was released in 2015 and featured a more rock-oriented sound than their previous releases. The album spawned the hit single "Believe," which peaked at number 3 on the UK Singles Chart.

In 2018, the band released their fourth album, Delta. The album featured the hit single "Guiding Light," which peaked at number 6 on the UK Singles Chart.

An interesting fact about Mumford & Sons is that they are the only group to have three consecutive albums debut at the top of the US Billboard 200 chart.
