Jon Hopkins – Insides (2xLP)

Jon Hopkins takes us into the world of nuances. The composer, pianist and studio magician paints his electronic sound paintings with thick synthesizer lines, shimmering melodies and a contourless bass roll. No wonder that this brought him the attention of Brian Eno, while artists like Herbie Hancock, David Holmes and Coldplay appreciate the man from London as a producer and composer.

He co-produced the 2008 album "Viva La Vida" for Coldplay and supported them on their world tour in 2008 / 09. "Insides" presents Hopkins' fascinating musical aesthetics in all its brilliance.
