Sparks – Annette (Cannes Edition - Selections From The Motion Picture Soundtrack)

The highly anticipated ANNETTE soundtrack was presented on July 6 at the opening of the 74th Cannes Film Festival and released simultaneously in French cinemas. It is the new film by LEOS CARAX, based on an original idea and music by SPARKS.

Originally an album by the flamboyant duo of brothers Ron and Russell Mael that was never released, ANNETTE became a musical film after their meeting with Leos Carax. Having remained one of the most innovative and creative groups in the musical landscape throughout their 50-year career, it was only natural that their collaboration with the visionary French director would produce a work of all proportions. The soundtrack of ANNETTE, co-written by SPARKS and Leos Carax and composed and performed by SPARKS, also allows for the film's high-end cast to be found behind the microphones: Adam Driver (Henry), Marion Cotillard (Ann) and Simon Helberg (The Conductor).
