The Cars' debut album from 1978, the band liked to call ironically their greatest hits album in the following years. In fact, all nine tracks on this album are still played on American radio stations today. The then revolutionary mix of New Wave and Hard Rock, with borrowings from Pop, still has fans today. Especially hits like "Good Times Roll" and "You're all I have got tonight" just don't get old.The half-speed mastering of the original tapes was done with Shawn R. Britton at the mixing desk. On "Moving in Stereo" he has shown the stereo width with particular intensity. The LP appears in a gatefold cover with printed text.
