Nils Frahm – Old Friends New Friends (2xLP)

Internationally acclaimed composer and producer Nils Frahm releases Old Friends New Friends, a new double album on his recently founded label LEITER. The album's 23 piano pieces were recorded between 2009 and 2021, but for various reasons have not yet been released. Neither an entirely new work nor a simple compilation of existing pieces, it reflects, according to Frahm, "an anatomy of all my ways of thinking and playing music." He adds with a wink: "Maybe you could say it's an album I've been working on for over twelve years and now finally had enough material to release?" The 140g records are protected by a high quality cardboard sleeve and anti-static inner sleeves.
