Orchester Der Wiener Staatsoper
Orchester Der Wiener Staatsoper, or the Vienna State Opera Orchestra, is a world-renowned symphony orchestra based in Vienna, Austria. Founded in 1869, it is one of the oldest and most prestigious orchestras in the world. The orchestra is best known for performing works by the great classical composers such as Mozart, Beethoven, and Strauss.
The Vienna State Opera Orchestra has released several albums, including Mozart: The Magic Flute and Beethoven: Symphony No. 9. Both albums feature the Vienna State Opera Orchestra performing the works of these two legendary composers. The orchestra has also released several live concert albums, including a live performance of Verdi's Rigoletto at the Vienna State Opera House and a live performance of Wagner's The Ring at the Salzburg Festival.
An interesting fact about the Vienna State Opera Orchestra is that it has never recorded a single studio album. All of their recordings are live performances. This makes them unique among other symphony orchestras, as most other orchestras record their albums in the studio.
