Parquet Courts is an American rock band from Brooklyn, New York. Formed in 2010, the band consists of Andrew Savage (vocals, guitar), Austin Brown (vocals, guitar), Sean Yeaton (bass) and Max Savage (drums). Their music is often characterized as a blend of punk, garage rock and post-punk.

Parquet Courts released their debut album, Light Up Gold, in 2012. The album was met with critical acclaim and earned them a spot on several best-of-the-year lists. Standout tracks from the album include "Borrowed Time", "Stoned and Starving", and "Master of My Craft".

In 2014, the band released their follow-up album, Sunbathing Animal. The album featured the single "Black and White", which was featured in an episode of the popular TV show Girls. Other standout tracks from the album include "Always Back in Town", "Dear Ramona" and "What Color Is Blood".

In 2018, the band released their fifth album, Wide Awake!. The album was well-received and featured the singles "Almost Had to Start a Fight/In and Out of Patience" and "Freebird II".

An interesting fact about Parquet Courts is that their name was inspired by the design of the flooring of the same name, which is found in their practice space.
