Payola$ Vinyl Records

Payola$ is a Canadian new wave rock band from Vancouver, British Columbia. They were formed in 1978 by Paul Hyde and Bob Rock, who later went on to produce albums for bands like Metallica and Mötley Crüe.

The band's first album, Payola$, was released in 1980 and was an immediate success, becoming the fastest-selling album in Canadian history at the time. The album featured their hit single "Eyes of a Stranger", which reached number one on the Canadian charts. Other songs on the album included "China Boys", "Don't It Make You Feel", "Cry Baby Cry", and "Girl in a Box".

Their follow-up album, Hammer on a Drum, was released in 1983 and featured the singles "Never Said I Loved You" and "Romantic Traffic". Other standout tracks from the album included "Mystery Man", "Danger Zone", and "Never Too Late".

The band's third and final album, No Stranger to Danger, was released in 1985. The album featured their hit single "Dance Romance", as well as the singles "It's All Over" and "Lost in Love". Other notable tracks from the album included "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" and "Can't Stop the Fire".

An interesting fact about Payola$ is that they were the first Canadian band to have a number one single on the Canadian charts.
