Prince And The Revolution Vinyl Records

Prince and The Revolution was a band formed in the early 1980s by singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Prince. The original lineup included Wendy Melvoin (guitar), Lisa Coleman (keyboards), Bobby Z. (drums), Brown Mark (bass) and Dr. Fink (keyboards).

The band's most successful album was 1984's Purple Rain, which sold over 20 million copies worldwide. It contained the hits "Let's Go Crazy", "When Doves Cry", "Purple Rain", and "I Would Die 4 U". The follow-up album Around the World in a Day (1985) was also a success, with the singles "Raspberry Beret" and "Pop Life".

The Revolution disbanded in 1986, shortly after the release of their third album Parade. The album included the hit single "Kiss", which topped the charts in the US.

An interesting fact about Prince and The Revolution is that they were the first band to have an album, Purple Rain, and a movie of the same name released simultaneously.
