  • Pup's new album is called "The Dream Is Over" - the exact words a doctor spoke to singer/guitarist Stefan Babcock after it was discovered that there was a bleeding cyst on one of his vocal cords.

    Considering that the band - completed by drummer Zack Mykula, bassist Nestor Chumak and guitarist Steve Sladkowski - had played over 450 shows in the last two years to promote their debut album, it's perhaps not surprising that this happened.

    But while Pup had to end 2015 by cancelling their remaining shows, the fact that they announced 'The Dream Is Over' live on stage to a sold out crowd in February 2016 is testament to the fact that the dream is still alive. The dream, after two gut-wrenching years on the road, is merely a little different to what the foursome would have previously dreamed of.
