Reggae-Pop
Reggae-Pop is a fusion of Reggae music and Pop music. The style combines elements of both genres, including Reggae's use of reggae rhythms, ska and dub beats, and Pop's use of catchy melodies and vocal hooks. The style has its origins in Jamaica, where it was popularized in the 1970s and 1980s by artists such as Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and Jimmy Cliff. Reggae-Pop also became popular in the United States, particularly in the 1990s, with artists such as Shaggy, Sean Paul, and No Doubt. It has since evolved to include elements of other genres, such as Hip-Hop, Dancehall, and Electronic Music.
