  • Coldplay ask you to dance one last time with "A Head Full Of Dreams"

Coldplay fans are caught between two stools these days, as the band has announced both very good and equally bad news in 2015.

First of all, the good: With "A Head Full Of Dreams", Coldplay are presenting a new studio album just under a year after "Ghost Stories" - their seventh by now.

The album, which the band has been working on since summer 2014, is to a certain extent the opposite of its wistful, melancholy predecessor, namely poppy, cheerful and colorful, as the cover suggests. It is also danceable here and there, as the first single "Adventure Of A Lifetime" proves. Coldplay gave a first taste of the album with this on November 6, 2015.

In total, "A Head Full Of Dreams" contains eleven new songs by the British band, which they recorded together with producer Rik Simpson and the production team Stargate. Vocal support was provided by none other than Beyoncé, Noel Gallagher, Tove Lo and Merry Clayton.

The only bad news is that singer Chris Martin has already announced that "A Head Full Of Dreams" could be the band's last album for the time being. However, this does not mean that there will not be a successor at some point. A break-up of the band is also not imminent.

Their new album marks the end of the "adventure of a lifetime", at least for the time being. however, "A Head Full Of Dreams" proves that you can also leave in a good mood and colorful - Coldplay as we know and love them.
