Ringo Starr Vinyl Records

Ringo Starr is an English musician, singer, songwriter and actor who gained worldwide fame as the drummer for the legendary rock band The Beatles. Born Richard Starkey in 1940, he joined The Beatles in 1962, replacing original drummer Pete Best. His iconic and distinctive drumming style, often referred to as the “Starr beat,” became one of the most influential and recognizable sounds in rock and roll.

As a solo artist, Starr has released 19 studio albums, the most successful of which are 1970’s Sentimental Journey, 1973’s Ringo, 1974’s Goodnight Vienna, 1975’s Ringo’s Rotogravure and 1978’s Bad Boy. His most popular songs as a solo artist include “It Don’t Come Easy,” “Photograph” and “You’re Sixteen.”

An interesting fact about Ringo Starr is that he is the only Beatle to have been knighted by Queen Elizabeth II. He was awarded a knighthood in 2018 for his services to music.
