Rose Tattoo is an Australian hard rock band from Sydney, formed in 1976 by former AC/DC singer Angry Anderson. The original line-up featured Anderson, guitarist Peter Wells, bassist Geordie Leach, and drummer Dallas “Digger” Royal. The band has undergone numerous line-up changes over the years and has seen several reunions of the original members.

Rose Tattoo's most successful and well-known albums are their self-titled debut album (1978), Assault & Battery (1981), and Southern Stars (1994). Notable songs include "Bad Boy for Love", "Rock 'n' Roll Outlaw", "Nice Boys", "We Can't Be Beaten", "Scarred for Life", and "Black Eyed Bruiser".

An interesting fact about Rose Tattoo is that they were the first Australian band to have a hit single in the UK, with their song "Bad Boy for Love" reaching number 54 on the UK Singles Chart in 1979.
