Russell Morris is an Australian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He rose to fame in the late 1960s and early 1970s with a string of Top 10 hits. His breakthrough hit, "The Real Thing", released in 1969, became the first Australian single to reach No. 1 on the Australian charts, and was the highest selling single of the year. Morris's subsequent releases include the critically acclaimed albums, "Bloodstone" (1972) and "Sharkmouth" (2012).
