Sailor

Sailor is an English pop/rock band formed in 1973 by the two brothers Georg and Phil Kajanus. They are best known for their hits such as "A Glass of Champagne", "Girls Girls Girls", "One Drink Too Many", and "The Secretary".

Their first album, Sailor, was released in 1974 and was an immediate success, reaching the UK Top 10 and making the band one of the most popular acts of the mid-70s. The album spawned the single "Glass of Champagne", which became an international hit and was their most successful single.

The band's second album, Trouble, was released in 1975 and was a commercial success, reaching the UK Top 10 and spawning the hit singles "Girls Girls Girls" and "One Drink Too Many".

Their third album, Checkpoint, was released in 1976 and saw the band take a more experimental approach. The album featured the singles "The Secretary" and "Panama".

Sailor's final album, Hideaway, was released in 1977 and saw the band taking a more bluesy, rock-oriented direction. The album featured the singles "Down by the Docks" and "La Cumbia".

An interesting fact about Sailor is that they are credited with inventing the "Champagne Rock" genre, which is a style of music that combines elements of rock, pop, and disco.
