Screw

Screw is a style of hip-hop music that originated in Houston, Texas in the early 1990s. It is characterized by slow, distorted beats and melodies, and the use of chopped and screwed samples and vocals. It was pioneered by DJ Screw, who began slowing down and manipulating existing rap tracks to create new compositions.
