Siouxsie & The Banshees Vinyl Records

Siouxsie & The Banshees were an English rock band, formed in London in 1976. The original line-up consisted of vocalist Siouxsie Sioux, bass guitarist Steven Severin, guitarist John McKay and drummer Kenny Morris.

The band released 11 studio albums between 1978 and 1995, as well as a number of live albums and compilations. Their debut album, The Scream, was released in 1978 and was followed by Join Hands (1979), Kaleidoscope (1980), Juju (1981) and A Kiss in the Dreamhouse (1982). The band’s most successful album was their fifth, Tinderbox (1986), which reached number five in the UK Albums Chart.

Their best known songs include "Hong Kong Garden" (1978), "Happy House" (1980), "Spellbound" (1981), "Cities in Dust" (1985) and "Kiss Them for Me" (1991).

An interesting fact about Siouxsie & The Banshees is that they were one of the first gothic rock bands, and their influence is still felt today in many of the bands in the genre.
