Sniff 'n' the Tears

Sniff 'n' the Tears is an English rock band that was formed in 1977 in London, England. The band is best known for their hit single "Driver's Seat," which reached No. 15 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1979.

The band's first album, Fickle Heart, was released in 1979 and contained the hit single "Driver's Seat." Their second album, The Game's Up, was released in 1980 and contained the singles "Hungry Eyes" and "The Devil Runs Deep."

Sniff 'n' the Tears' third album, Love Action, was released in 1981 and contained the singles "Night Life" and "One Love (Babylon)." The band's fourth and final album, Ride Blue Divide, was released in 1982 and contained the single "Trouble Maker."

An interesting fact about Sniff 'n' the Tears is that their original lead singer, Paul Roberts, left the band in 1981 and was replaced by Nick South. South continued to tour with the band until they disbanded in 1984.
