Stanley Turrentine
Stanley Turrentine was an American jazz tenor saxophonist. He began his career in the early 1950s and had a long and successful career until his death in 2000.
Turrentine's most famous albums include Look Out!, Blue Hour, and Sugar. He also had many successful collaborations with artists such as Quincy Jones, Jimmy Smith, and Lee Morgan. His most popular songs include "Sister Sanctified", "Sugar", and "Look Out!".
An interesting fact about Turrentine is that he was one of the first jazz saxophonists to incorporate a wah-wah pedal into his solos. This technique allowed him to create a unique, soulful sound that has become a staple in modern jazz.
