Status Quo Vinyl Records

Status Quo is an English rock band that has been active since 1962. The original lineup consisted of Francis Rossi and Alan Lancaster, and they were later joined by Rick Parfitt in 1967. The band has since undergone several lineup changes, but the core members of Rossi and Parfitt remained until Parfitt's death in 2016.

Status Quo is one of the most successful British rock bands of all time, having released over 60 studio albums, 27 live albums and over 100 singles. They are best known for their hits “Pictures of Matchstick Men”, “Down Down” and “Whatever You Want”. Some of their standout albums include “Piledriver” (1972), “On the Level” (1975) and “In the Army Now” (1986).

An interesting fact about Status Quo is that they are one of only two bands to have had a number one hit in the UK in five consecutive decades. The other is the Beatles.
