    No, "Singles" is not a singles collection or any other best-of, but already the fourth album of the US-American synth-pop band Future Islands. It is the group's first album since 2011 and at the same time their debut on the English indie label 4AD

    The band is not unknown - after all, the guys from Baltimore have been filling large concert halls in Germany for several years now. Anyone who has ever experienced Future Islands live knows why. Frontman Sam Herring, guitarist William Cashion and keyboarder Gerrit Welmers are a natural event that takes the hearts of the audience by storm

    Singles" is also such a reductive heartbreaker again. The album was produced by Chris Coady, who has worked with Grizzly Bear, Beach House and the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs.
