The Guess Who Vinyl Records

The Guess Who is a Canadian rock band from Winnipeg, Manitoba, that was formed in 1965. Originally named Chad Allan and the Expressions, the band was later re-named The Guess Who in 1965 and achieved mainstream success in the late 1960s and early 1970s. They were one of the first Canadian bands to become popular internationally, and the first to have a #1 hit in the US.

The Guess Who had several successful albums, including Wheatfield Soul (1969), Canned Wheat (1969), American Woman (1970), and Share the Land (1970). Their biggest hit single was "American Woman", which was released in 1970 and reached #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. Other popular songs include "These Eyes", "No Time", and "No Sugar Tonight".

An interesting fact about The Guess Who is that the band's original lead singer, Chad Allan, was the one who suggested the name "The Guess Who". After he left the band in 1965, Burton Cummings became the lead singer.
