Their second album, This Is the Modern World, was released the following year and contained the hit singles "All Around the World", "The Modern World", and "Down in the Tube Station at Midnight".
The band's third album, All Mod Cons, was released in 1978 and is considered their most successful album, containing the singles "Strange Town", "To Be Someone (Didn't We Have a Nice Time)", and "David Watts".
The Jam's fourth album, Setting Sons, was released in 1979 and contained the singles "Thick as Thieves", "The Eton Rifles", and "The Butterfly Collector".
