The Kills Vinyl Records

The Kills are an indie rock duo from London, England, consisting of American vocalist Alison Mosshart and British guitarist Jamie Hince. They are best known for their dynamic, bluesy sound and intense live performances.

The band formed in 2000 after Hince met Mosshart at a London show. They released their debut album, Keep On Your Mean Side, in 2003, which received critical acclaim for its raw, garage-rock sound. The follow-up, Midnight Boom (2008), featured a more pop-influenced sound, with standout singles "U.R.A. Fever" and "Cheap and Cheerful." Their third album, Blood Pressures (2011), saw the band take a more electronic-oriented approach, with Mosshart's powerful vocals still at the forefront.

The Kills' most recent release is Ash & Ice (2016), which features their most polished production yet and contains the singles "Doing It To Death" and "Heart Of A Dog." The duo has also released numerous EPs, live albums and compilations over the years.

An interesting fact about The Kills is that they have been described as "the missing link between The White Stripes and The xx."
