The Pretty Things Vinyl Records

The Pretty Things is an English rock band formed in London in 1963. They are considered one of the first British R&B bands. The original line-up consisted of lead vocalist Phil May, guitarist Brian Pendleton, bassist Dick Taylor, organist John Stax, and drummer Viv Prince.

Their early career was heavily influenced by the Rolling Stones and their albums include the 1965 debut The Pretty Things and 1966's Get the Picture?. Their most successful album, 1967's S.F. Sorrow, was an early concept album and is considered one of the first of its kind. They released a number of subsequent albums, including Emotions, Parachute, and Cross Talk.

Some of their standout songs include "Don't Bring Me Down", "Rosalyn", and "Cry to Me".

An interesting fact about the Pretty Things is that they were the first British band to perform in a prison when they played a show at Reading Prison in 1965.
