The Radiators Vinyl Records

The Radiators is a New Orleans based rock band founded in 1978 by Dave Malone, Ed Volker, Camile Baudoin, Frank Bua Jr., and Reggie Scanlan. They are known for blending elements of blues, funk, jazz, rock, and reggae to create their own distinct sound. They are one of the most beloved bands in the New Orleans music scene, and have been a staple of the city's live music for more than forty years.

The Radiators have released several albums over the course of their career, including the classic “Live at the Old Absinthe House” (1982), “Heat Generation” (1984), “Law of the Fish” (1985), “Live at Tipitina’s” (1986), and “Soul Deep” (1987). The Radiators are perhaps best known for their song “Suck the Head”, which has become an anthem for the New Orleans music scene. Other popular songs by the band include “Crazy Mona”, “Smokin’ Hole”, and “Let’s Radiate”.

An interesting fact about The Radiators is that they have performed with a variety of musical acts throughout their career, including U2, The Grateful Dead, and Bonnie Raitt. They have also performed at some of the most famous music festivals in the world, including the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, The Great American Music Festival, and the Telluride Bluegrass Festival.
