The Stockings Vinyl Records

The Stockings are an American alternative rock band formed in New York City in 1997. The group consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Chris Kim, bassist Ryan Sullivan, guitarist and keyboardist Eric McFadden, and drummer Mark Hocken.

The Stockings released their self-titled debut album in 1998, which featured the singles “Goodbye” and “Blue Eyes.” The album received positive reviews and was followed by the 2001 release of their second album, “Reckoning.” The album featured the singles “Hear Me Out” and “What We Have.” The band's third album, “Second Sight,” was released in 2004 and featured the singles “Walking Away” and “The Longest Road.”

The Stockings' most successful album to date is “Lift Me Up,” released in 2007. The album featured the singles “Lift Me Up” and “What You’re Not Ready For,” which both charted in the Top 40. The band's most recent album, “Light of Day,” was released in 2009 and featured the single “Can't Stop the Rain.”

An interesting fact about The Stockings is that they have been featured on the soundtracks of two major motion pictures, “Evan Almighty” and “My Sister’s Keeper.”
