The Stranglers Vinyl Records

The Stranglers are an English punk rock band formed in Guildford, Surrey, in 1974. The original line-up was Hugh Cornwell (vocals and guitar), Jean-Jacques Burnel (bass and vocals), Jet Black (drums and percussion) and Dave Greenfield (keyboards and vocals).

Their first album, Rattus Norvegicus, released in 1977, was one of the most successful British punk albums. It included the singles "Peaches" and "Go Buddy Go" and established the band's signature sound of dark, brooding lyrics, complex bass and keyboard lines, and an overall dark atmosphere.

Their other standout albums include Black and White (1978), No More Heroes (1977), The Raven (1979), and Feline (1982). Their songs "Golden Brown", "Always the Sun", "No More Heroes", and "Skin Deep" are some of their most well-known tracks.

An interesting fact about The Stranglers is that they were the first punk band to headline London's Wembley Arena.
