For the first time on vinyl: the magnificent 2014 album "Rising Son" by Japanese trumpeter Takuya Kuroda on Blue Note. Kuroda was the first Japanese on the historic jazz label and reached #1 in the Japanese jazz charts. The album, produced by José James, oscillates between jazz fusion, soul, R&B, hip-hop and Afrobeat. It includes a collaboration with Mala (Ezra Collective) and a cover of the Roy Ayers classic "Everybody Loves The Sunshine", which is now joined by a brand new Joe Armon-Jones remix as a bonus on the First Word edition.
