In 2015, he was inducted into the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame."Making Music" was originally released on Columbia Records in 1975. It has the same down-to-earthness and eye for the details of daily life as his previous works. The sound is smoother overall than on its predecessors; a warm, relaxed soul sound that can't be beat.
