Willie Nelson is an American country music singer-songwriter, author, poet, actor, and activist. Born in 1933 in Texas, Nelson has had an incredible career spanning over six decades. He has recorded more than 200 albums and achieved numerous awards, including multiple Grammy Awards and seven Country Music Association Awards.

Nelson's standout albums include his 1973 hit Red Headed Stranger, which featured the hit single "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain" and was certified triple platinum. His 1978 album Stardust featured a collection of pop standards, and went on to become one of the best-selling albums of all time. His 1982 album Always on My Mind also went multi-platinum, and was later inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
