Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) was an Austrian composer and one of the most influential musicians of the Classical era. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest composers of all time. Mozart composed over 600 works, including symphonies, operas, concertos, chamber music, and choral works. His most popular works include the operas Don Giovanni and The Magic Flute, the symphonies No. 25, 35, and 41 (the "Jupiter"), the Clarinet Concerto in A major, the Piano Concertos No. 21 and 27, and the Violin Sonata No. 21 in E minor ("The Hunt").
Mozart’s most popular albums include Requiem, The Symphonies, Piano Concertos, Violin Concertos, and the Great Mass in C Minor. Some of his most popular songs are “Lacrimosa” from Requiem, “Rondo alla Turca” from Piano Sonata No. 11, “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik”, “Ave Verum Corpus”, and “Alleluia”.
An interesting fact about Mozart is that he was a child prodigy and began playing the piano and writing music at the age of five. He was born in Salzburg, Austria, and his father Leopold was also a composer and a teacher. Mozart traveled extensively during his lifetime and performed in courts and concert halls throughout Europe. He died at the age of 35, and the cause of death is still unknown.
