Billy Talent – Crisis Of Faith

Already in 2019 Billy Talent released "Forgiveness I + II", a new song. in 2020, the singles "Reckless Paradise" and "I Beg To Differ (This Will Get Better)" followed. Finally, in September 2021, the song "End Of Me" was launched together with Weezer singer Rivers Cuomo, the first collabo song in the history of the band. Billy Talent commented, "It's come full circle for us. We've admired Weezer since the 'Blue Album' and we're fans of theirs. Before we had a title, this song was originally called 'Hendrix + Weezer,' so it only felt right to ask Rivers to sing on it. The song embodies the essence of 90's alternative rock, which was a very influential time for our band. We're proud of the song and very happy to have Rivers be a part of it."

All four singles give a good idea of what listeners can expect on the ten-track record, which Billy Talent recorded in their own Toronto studio. The production was handled by guitarist and main songwriter Ian D'Sa, and the mixing was done by Chris Lord-Alge.
