  • The Gizz are doing Thrash Metal now. They have a perfect command of that, too. No wonder.

    The fifteenth studio album of the seven-piece band - and the second after "Fishing For Fishies" this year alone - is by far The Gizz's hardest album.

    So it makes use of the golden phase of Thrash Metal middle/end of the eighties: Metallica and Slayer of course, but also less quoted bands like Exodus, Kreator and Overkill.

    The fact that not all seven members were involved in the album recordings, but actually only three, is only a side note, as the band has been following a flexible approach to these things ever since it was founded. Expect the unexpected, that probably doesn't apply to any other band like it does to The Gizz.
