Max Richter, Antonio Vivaldi – The New Four Seasons Vivaldi Recomposed

When Max Richter first released his album VIVALDI RECOMPOSED in the fall of 2012, the impact for many was unparalleled. Never before had one of classical music's most beloved works, Vivaldi's Four Seasons, been heard in such a way.

Since then, Max Richter has thrilled audiences of millions worldwide with his "Vivaldi for the 21st century" (DIE ZEIT), touching not only those who know the original inside out and love it, but also completely new generations of listeners, whether in concerts or in films and series, as most recently in the Netflix success formats Bridgerton or The Crown.

Together with the musicians of the Chineke! Orchestra and the brilliant violinist Elena Urioste, he now delves even deeper into the fascinating sound world of this groundbreaking work. They perform the new version THE NEW FOUR SEASONS on original string instruments from Vivaldi's time and the "Stradivarius among synthesizers" - an early Moog from the 1970s.
