Re-release of the 1995 album as a 180g heavy vinyl edition. After Moby provided the techno scene overnight with one of the big hits of this phase with his track "Go" and two compilations with early works of the artist were quickly thrown on the market, "Everything Is Wrong" was to be his first "real" album
Freshly signed to the label Mute, Moby showed himself musically astonishingly multifaceted. On the one hand, there are dancefloor anthems like the overwrought "Feeling So Real" or the single "Every Time You Touch Me", on the other hand Moby surprised with ambient and filigree pop. "When It's Cold I'd Like To Die" with guest vocalist Mimi Goese sounds quite as if Moby had an extraordinary appreciation for the early works of the 4AD label (Cocteau Twins, Dead Can Dance). With this variance he anticipates his further career, where he should surprise even more often.
