Rosali – Bite Down

Rosali, North Carolina-based songwriter and guitarist Rosali Middleman, announces her new album "Bite Down". "Bite Down" is Rosali's first album with Merge Records and features her in the midst of a transition.

"I began writing the majority of Bite Down after moving to North Carolina in the fall of 2021. The album traces two moves across the country, including saying goodbye to my longtime home of Philadelphia," Rosali explains. On "Bite Down", Rosali once again works with Omaha's finest musicians - David Nance (bass, guitar), James Schroeder (guitar, synthesizer) and Kevin Donahue (drums, percussion), the same band she enlisted for her popular 2021 album "No Medium". In the studio, she was also supported by Destroyer member Ted Bois (keyboards, piano).

"Bite Down" shows the urgency and ambition of their collaboration - a band pushing each other to not only expand on what they've already done together, but to push into entirely new territory. "Bite Down" was also co-produced and mixed by Schroeder and Rosali.
