The Sleaford Mods are back. In their luggage: their third 'real' album, which will be released once again on the abstract punk label Harbinger Sound. The Sleaford Mods were responsible for everything else. "Key Markets" was a large supermarket that existed in the middle of Grantham from the early 1970s to around 1980, "explains Jason Williamson. “My mother took me to go shopping and I got a large Coke in an orange plastic cup between lacquered wooden strips and flowered lampshades. All around me were beige bricks with screaming yellow sales pitch and huge foam letters. That's why we christened the album 'Key Markets'. It's a continuation of the mundane and our way of looking at it. ”“ The album was recorded at various times between summer and fall 2014. We worked fast as always; the procedure was the same as with the other two albums and the sound just developed on its own. We are still concerned with the extinction of the individual, megalomania and the senselessness of government policy. It's a classic. Fuck em. "
