he indie rockers from Haldedon, New Jersey, influenced the sound of college radios immensely in the 80s. The albums "The Good Earth" and "Crazy Rhythms" will be available for the first time in a long time at a concert as part of the "All Tomorrow's Parties" series of events at which The Feelies will play "Crazy Rhythms" in full length.
"Crazy Rhythms", the debut album of the band founded in 1976 and reformed in 2008, was released on Stiff-Records in 1980 and was to become one of the most influential albums of the coming decade. R. E.M. called it a source of inspiration, and the "Rolling Stone" included it in the list of the 100 best albums of the 80s. Six years later followed the successor "The Good Earth" produced by Peter Buck (R. E.M.) and others.
