  • "It's almost an anti-concept album. The 'Endless Rooms' of the title reflect our penchant for creating worlds in our songs. We treat each of them like a bare room that can be built with infinite possibilities," write Rolling Blackout's Coastal Fever on the announcement of their new album, Endless Rooms, for 2022.

One of a total of twelve rooms is the lead single "The Way It Shatters." And this shows with an exuberant synth figure directly a little breath of fresh air in the otherwise typical guitar rock, which is still not dispensed with here. The band describes the content as follows: "It's about how one's life situation is the result of absolute chance. Whether you happen to be born in affluent Australia or happen to be born in a war zone in Syria. That's just the way it fragments. When you confuse that luck with a sense of pride in yourself or your country, you get confused and don't know what's important anymore. Then those who are on the other side of the happiness scale are seen as something completely different and not worthy."

"Endless Rooms" is already the third album of Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever. It was produced by the band themselves and recorded in their native Australia in a house the group rented to write together.

The Australian rock-pop band from Melbourne was formed by three guitarists and singers Fran Keaney, Tom Russo and Joe White, who had been playing music together in different bands since their school days. in 2013, with Marcel Tussie on bass and Russo's brother Joe on drums, they formed the group Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever. After the two EPs "Talk Tight" (2016) and "The French Press" (2017), the debut "Hope Downs" was released in 2018 and the second album "Sideways To New Italy" in 2020, which reached number four in the charts in Australia.
